what i really noticed is that the water actually stays consistently warm, not scalding, just enough that it doesn't ice over. my dogs go to it just as normal as they would any bowl, no hesitation.

One thing I appreciate is that it doesn't run hot on the outside of the bowl. I touched it once just to check and it was just slightly warm, not enough to worry about. My dogs drink from it all day without any issues 🐾 🎉
